Air Liquide employees in Shanghai shuttle by H2 FCEVs

On September, 2 hydrogen FCEVs rented by Air Liquide were recently put on the roads in Shanghai.

With this initiative to promote FCEV, Air Liquide manifests its commitment to addressing the societal challenge of energy transition and climate change in China, in line with Group’s Climate Objectives.

Each with a capacity of 12 passengers, the 2x FCEVs serve as shuttle buses for Cheng Kung plant located in Jiading District. Benefiting from the Sinopec H2 Refueling Station (HRS) in the same district, which were designed, manufactured and installed by Air Liquide Houpu JV, the FCEVs can be refueled efficiently with the hydrogen supplied by Air Liquide Changshu plant.

Nicolas POIROT, Air Liquide China President & CEO, said, “In over 50 years, Air Liquide has developed unique know-how across the entire hydrogen value chain. A total of 12 HRS have been constructed or under the working process by our joint venture Air Liquide Houpu in China. The launch of the 2 FCEVs for employees commuting is undoubtedly another humble but clear milestone of our climate commitment, and a testimony of our confidence in clean mobility and energy transition.”
