BayoTech Selects Sumanth Addagarla, Ph.D. as Vice President of Program Management

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — BayoTech is pleased to announce that Sumanth Addagarla has joined our senior management team as Vice President of Program Management. Sumanth will be responsible for managing BayoTech’s product delivery program and supporting project execution in accordance with the company’s project management Standard Operating Practice (SOP).

Sumanth brings over 30-years experience in project portfolio management, business development and research program coordination in the energy sector.

Sumanth joins us from Chevron where he held responsibility for managing a portfolio of domestic and international projects ranging from $2M to $200M. His experience includes working with design and fabrication partners to deliver a change-out of refinery equipment in Kuwait, installation of a thermal oxidizer for the environmental abatement of VOC’s in hydrogen, oversight of the construction of a chemical plant in the Gulf Coast and pre-startup inspection of fabricated equipment globally at client sites. Sumanth holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University with specialization in oxidation of fuels. He was co-chair for the AIChE’s Center for Hydrogen Safety 2020 Conference and is a mentor for the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator’s CleanTech Open.
