Bureau Veritas is a member of the France Hydrogen association , formerly AFHYPAC (French Association for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells) which brings together hydrogen and fuel cell players in France: companies, laboratories and research institutes, competitiveness clusters, local authorities and regional associations.

With the support of ADEME, the France Hydrogen association ensures the animation of this industrial sector of the future.

For Bureau Veritas, the Hydrogen sector is identified as a priority axis of investment and growth, a task force for more than 2 years to address this sector in full transformation, a team of more than 70 people is dedicated to this issue.

We are present throughout the entire value chain of the sector in order to anticipate risks at each stage and to help design reliable, secure and environmentally friendly systems. W e help our clients to control their risks across the entire value chain (design, production, storage, operation, distribution, mobility, energy, etc.) and deliver tailor-made services (advice, training, expertise).

We are convinced that hydrogen is a major lever in the ecological and energy transition. However, the development of this sector is conditioned on the confidence of users, or future users.  We therefore wish to be at the heart of the subject to bring our expertise to the growth and development of hydrogen, through our role as an expert, and as an independent third party.
