Fuel cells works, Nowogen Technology Places MSEK 1.3 Order for Serial Production of Flow Plates with Cell Impact

Cell Impact AB (publ) and Nakanishi Metal Works Co. Ltd. (NKC) initiates a number of production tests to validate the sustainability of Cell Impact’s production technology in high volume production.

Cell Impact uses a unique manufacturing method to form complex flow plates, with very high demands on precision and production economy at high volumes.

– Together with NKC, we now have the opportunity to validate certain aspects of our technology in the production of large volumes of flow plates, says Pär Teike, CEO of Cell Impact. A relatively small series of a thousand hydrogen vehicles may require the production of over half a million flow plates, which is why there is a need for this type of testing aimed at validating that the technology is ripe for production in larger volumes.

This first test project is expected to be completed in quarter one 2020.
