Fuel cells works, CHFCA and Hydrogen Quebec announce the appointment of Marie Lapointe as Executive Director of Hydrogen Quebec and CHFCA Regional Manager, Eastern Canada

MONTREAL —The Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) and Hydrogen Quebec are pleased to announce the appointment of Marie Lapointe as Executive Director of Hydrogen Quebec and CHFCA Regional Manager, Eastern Canada.

With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Lapointe holds an engineering degree and has successfully held various roles in plant management, strategy and marketing at Niobec, Rio Tinto Alcan, and Rio Tinto Fer et Titane. She previously served as CEO of Aluquébec, the Aluminum Transformation cluster in Quebec. With a passion for business development, stewardship and collaboration, Ms. Lapointe brings her dedication to the growth of the Canadian hydrogen sector in collaboration with private and public partners.

In this role, Ms. Lapointe will support the CHFCA’s provincial branch in Quebec (Hydrogen Quebec) and overseeing marketing, communications, government relations and events for the sector in Quebec and eastern Canada.
