China: Toyota, Foton and Yihuatong Launch Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Bus

Toyota Motor Corporation, Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. and Beijing Yihuatong Technology Co., Ltd. have cooperated in the field of hydrogen fuel cell passenger cars. 

This is also the representative of the cross-border cooperation between Japanese and Japanese automakers in the era of new energy vehicles.

The first product promoted by the three parties is based on the technical advantages and industrial accumulation of various parties in the field of power reactors, fuel cell power systems, and vehicle integration. 

According to the plan, other hydrogen fuel cell models will be introduced in the future to provide better solutions for different application scenarios of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in China. 

This is undoubtedly a strong alliance between the leading companies of hydrogen energy in China and Japan . It is also a positive absorption and reference to international advanced technology in the current increasingly open economic environment.

Ouyang Minggao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor at Tsinghua University, said that the three parties have significant technologies and advantages.

The cooperation will help to improve the development level of domestic hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles and promote the leap-forward development of the industry.
