CPH2 New Order

Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has received the first non-grant funded order for unique and patented Membrane-Free Electrolyser™ (MFE) technology.

The order is for the MFE30 electrolyser which produces 59 kg of hydrogen per day as well as 472 kg of pure oxygen. CPH2’s patented system has been chosen for its innovative and compact design. The technology combines water electrolysis with cryogenic separation to produce both gases in their separate streams. The MFE range of electrolysers can efficiently create up to 99.999% (5 Nines) pure hydrogen at any scale, which is the industry benchmark.

Ian Pillay, Development Director said, “This is an amazing time for CPH2 and ‘exciting’ doesn’t even get close to how we are feeling right now”. Ian continues “It’s the culmination of many years of research and development that has got us to this stage and we are extremely proud of our achievement”.

With the push for a cleaner, greener future, coupled with the effects on global trade that Covid-19 has caused, CPH2’s range of electrolysers is a viable and integral part to realising the hydrogen economy.

This is the first of the MFE-30 units to be shipped and commissioned from the company’s Doncaster Technical Innovation Centre.
