The California State Transportation Agency awarded Lake Transit Authority $12,994,000 from the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program.

The project would expand service to out of county destinations, including the Sonoma County Airport and the Santa Rosa Bus Terminal in Downtown Santa Rosa.
Hydrogen fuel cell technology is used in order to allow extended range services to be operated, contributing to increased ridership.
