De Nora Has Joined the Italian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association

Milan — We’re excited to announce that De Nora has joined the Italian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association, H2IT, the only Italian association committed to promoting the progress of knowledge and the study of disciplines relating to technologies and systems for the production and use of hydrogen.

Along with more than 45 other stakeholders including international companies, universities, research centers and start-ups, De Nora will contribute to the development of more sustainable and competitive hydrogen technologies.

The development of Green Hydrogen will be essential to match future EU’s Climate and Industrial goals and reach carbon neutrality by 2050. The deployment of large-scale Hydrogen Electrolyzers is recognized as a priority for the full decarbonization of the energy system and the adoption of green chemicals (ammonia, methanol, methane, etc.). This is due to performance improvement and Total Cost of Ownership reduction- positioning renewable hydrogen as the solution of choice when other alternatives might not be feasible.
