Energy transition at Migros Neuchâtel-Friborg. The regional cooperative’s operations center now has a hydrogen truck to transport its goods, a first in the region.
The Migros Neuchâtel-Friborg Cooperative Society is innovating in its freight transport, thus participating, on its own scale, in the energy transition. At the end of June, the regional cooperative started operating a very latest generation vehicle, a hydrogen truck. Migros Neuchâtel-Friborg is thus making its contribution to the decarbonisation of freight transport.
As for the supply of hydrogen, the objective, in collaboration with our partners, is to eventually install a filling station in Marin-Epagnier, or even to produce “green” hydrogen in the Friborg region.
