Fuel Cells Works, Doosan Mobility Innovation Targets Overseas Markets With Hydrogen Mobility Technology

Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) announced today that it will participate in the world’s largest unmanned vehicle exhibition “AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022” held in Florida, USA from April 25th to April 28th.

This exhibition is a place to share the latest technologies and solutions related to unmanned vehicles such as drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.

DMI will present hydrogen fuel cell power packs (DP30, DM15), DS30W, DT30N, and DZ15 at this exhibition.

The DP30 is a hydrogen fuel cell that can fly for a long time, and is characterized by ultra-light weight and high output.

Since it is possible to customize everything from fuel cell materials to stack design and system, it can be easily applied to various drones in addition to the aircraft manufactured by DMI.

DM15 is a hydrogen fuel cell that has a small rated output but can be applied to small gases by reducing weight and size.

DS30W strengthens wind resistance compared to the existing flagship DS30, so it can withstand an average wind speed of 12 m/s and an instantaneous wind speed of 15 m/s.

The DT30N is an all-in-one hydrogen drone that significantly reduced the aircraft size and improved flight time and maximum payload from the DT30, which was released in 2020.

The DZ15 is the world’s first DMI application of a hydrogen fuel cell to a helicopter-type UAV. It has excellent wind resistance and can fly for up to 5 hours and 30 minutes.

“DMI’s hydrogen fuel cell power pack can be applied not only to hydrogen drones but also to various mobility applications,” said a DMI official. “We will introduce various applications through the newly unveiled DT30N and DZ15 products and hydrogen fuel cell power packs at this exhibition and actively target overseas markets.”

Meanwhile, on March 29, DMI succeeded in attracting KRW 27 billion of external investment in recognition of its innovative hydrogen mobility technology and future growth potential.
