Fuel Cells Works, Elcogen Announces Appointments to the Management Team for the Commercialization of Its Solid Oxide Technology

Tallinn, Estonia: Elcogen (“Elcogen” or “the Company), the European manufacturer of clean energy technology that delivers affordable green hydrogen and emission-free electricity, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the management team following the addition of Markus Holm as Chief Financial Officer at the end of 2022:

  • Stefano Piscitellijoins Elcogen as Chief Operations Officer, based in Tallinn, Estonia.
  • Hanna Granö-Fabritius has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, based in Vantaa, Finland.
  • Martin Skjøth-Rasmussen joins Elcogen as Chief Technology Officer, based in Tallinn, Estonia.
  • Markus Holm joined Elcogen as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors at the end of 2022. Markus is based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Martin Skjøth-Rasmussen, new CTO of Elcogen, commented:

Biographies

Stefano Piscitelli joins Elcogen as Chief Operations Officer with over 20 years of industrial experience in energy, infrastructure and engineering. Whilst Vice President at Northvolt, Stefano played a key role in delivering the first European homegrown Lithium-ion Gigafactory. Prior to Northvolt, Stefano held several executive and general management positions focusing on operation and delivery of large international contracts in the EMEA region. Stefano holds a Master’s degree in Engineering.

Hanna Granö-Fabritius has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in addition to her role as Managing Director of Elcogen Oy based in Finland. Prior to joining Elcogen in 2020, Hanna held several Director level roles within Thermo Fisher Scientific focusing on product management, marketing, commercialization and development in the Life Science and Material Science sectors. She has successfully brought several novel product and software platforms to the market. Hanna brings more than 20 years of experience within international business and commercialization to this appointment. Hanna holds a M.Sc. degree from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University).

Martin Skjøth-Rasmussen joins Elcogen as Chief Technology Officer with a proven history of successful work in the chemicals industry including over 20 years of experience in catalysts, processes and technologies concerning hydrogen and syngas generation, including the conversion into derivatives such as ammonia, methanol, DME, synthetic gasoline and diesel. Previously, Martin was a fuel concepts manager at Mærsk and a Vice President at Haldor Topsøe. Martin holds a Ph.D. focused on chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.

Markus Holm joined Elcogen as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board at the end of 2022. He has extensive experience as a CFO across both public and private companies, including Sanoma Corporation, where he acted as CFO and COO from 2017 to 2022 and Metsä Group, where he acted as CFO for Metsä Board Corporation from 2014 to 2016 and Metsä Tissue Corporation from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this Markus held a position as Financial and ICT Director for GlaxoSmithKline and various managerial positions in Huhtamaki Group. Markus is also a Board member of VR Group, the sustainable Finnish transport, logistics and maintenance company, a position he has held since March 2022. Markus holds an M.Sc. Econ. from Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki.
