Forsee Power Equips a Hydrogen Bus

  • Forsee Power will equip CaetanoBus’ hydrogen bus with its Pulse 15 battery system.

ParisForsee Power, the expert in smart battery systems and a key player in the electromobility market, has been working for two years with the leading Portuguese bus and coach manufacturer, CaetanoBus.

Their 100% electric buses run in many European cities like London, Lisbon or Braga. For its new H2.City Gold hydrogen bus, the manufacturer once again partner with Forsee Power.

Forsee Power develops state-of-the-art technologies that answer all the needs and constraints imposed by the electric bus market: autonomy, power, life cycles, and safety. Forsee Power is tackling the challenge of hydrogen propulsion with its high-power Pulse 15 batteries. Batteries are installed on the roof and associated with 5 hydrogen tanks. Thus, the H2.City Gold can travel up to 400 km in zero-emission mode with the combination of Forsee Power battery systems and fuel cells.

A partnership between CaetanoBus and RATP has been announced for the first hydrogen bus in Paris. As the Parisian operator pointed out in its press release on November 26th: «RATP wants to master all technologies and continues to test new energies».
