Foton Partners with TrueGreen Mobility Group to Deliver Hydrogen Buses in Australia

Foton Bus Australia has just announced that it will be partnering with TrueGreen Mobility to bring hydrogen fuel cell powered buses to Australia under a new name.

In a company announcement Foton said that the new name of the company will be Foton Mobility Pty Ltd and will be established to “deliver Australia’s first high-quality hydrogen-powered buses”, Neil Wang will head up Foton Mobility as its CEO.

Wang said, ” we will see up to 200 hydrogen buses a year made available to the Australian market” and he continued, “This partnership enables Foton Mobility national infrastructure to support the rollout of both Hydrogen bus fleets and hydrogen fuel supply plus reliable and robust after sales service.”

Foton Mobility also announced that it plans to create a production facility at the TrueGreen Clean-Tech Manufacturing Village in Moss Vale NSW and that the new company will deliver its first 12.5-metre low-floor city bus, powered by Toyota Fuel cells in early 2021.
