As part of its “advance COP” program, the South region has just introduced a new system aimed at supporting professionals and communities in acquiring vehicles that are more respectful of the environment.

Representing 60% of goods movements, light commercial vehicles are at the heart of a new aid system implemented by the South region which wishes to increase the share of vehicles with low or zero emissions used by professionals.

The 3-year program aimed at entrepreneurs, very small businesses (VSEs) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and other public establishments that are located in the territory.

The program is targeting vehicles that are plug-in hybrid, hydrogen, and natural gas (CNG and LNG).

The amount of the subsidy depends on the total authorized load weight (GVWP) as well as the technology and only vehicles with a gross vehicle weight greater than 2.5 tonnes are eligible.
