GAUSSIN (EURONEXT GROWTH: ALGAU – FR0013495298), a leader in clean and intelligent freight transport, announces the commercial launch of the Rendez-vous (RDV) range made up of 100% electric or hydrogen intelligent vehicles intended for the rapid airport transport.
An extension of GAUSSIN’s range of airport vehicles
Equipped with an automatic loading and unloading platform, the vehicles are intended for the rapid transport of all types of baggage containers and cargo pallets (ULDs) up to 40 km / h.
The RDV range of modular vehicles is available in a 2 or 3 passenger version, with driver or autonomous, electric battery or hydrogen in order to support the transition to low-carbon transport of goods and meet all of the new mobility needs in airports. .
A launch which takes place in a favorable context for GAUSSIN
The commercial launch of RDV responds to a growing demand for air cargo transport from international players in E-commerce and logistics, boosted by booming online shopping, with growth of over 200% in the United States. United since the health crisis.
GAUSSIN’s new offer also confirms the desire of e-commerce and logistics players to rely on clean and, increasingly, autonomous vehicles. The Group is thus reaping the fruits of its deployment in recent years in this niche. It also demonstrates its ability to resist and even to outperform during this pandemic which is putting many sectors in difficulty.
