Maximator Hydrogen founds partner company in the north of Paris.

Nordhausen/Rantigny– The manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations Maximator Hydrogen from Nordhausen in Thuringia (Germany) founds its first European partner company: Maximator Hydrogen France. Thereby, the company relies on the long-standing relationship from the cooperation with international partners of Maximator GmbH. Local contacts generate precise project handling, guarantee reliable service and thus ensure maximum availability of the H2 plants. Know-how and trust built up over many years from the family business form a valuable basis for the cooperation and its development.

Since this week, a European specialist for hydrogen refueling stations has been lining up at the Maximator France site in the municipality of Rantigny, located about 70 km north of Paris: With Maximator Hydrogen France, the German technology company relies on a trusted cooperation partner with its first European partner company. For more than 20 years, the founders have been working together at eye level, have entered new markets together and now want to continue this in the hydrogen world under their own brand: “All steps towards the 1.5-degree target must always be thought of in European terms, or even globally. For us as a supplier of a key technology, it is therefore only logical to address this goal as a joint project with partner companies,” emphasizes René Himmelstein (CBDO & Co-Founder of Maximator Hydrogen) and hands over the door sign for Maximator Hydrogen France to his long-time partner Christophe Mony.

With this formation, the company creates direct contact persons for projects on site: a strong basis for the realization of maximum reliability of the systems and minimum downtimes. “Having experienced, national service partners at the local level is the basis for smooth operations and is an absolute priority for us when entering this new market. With Christophe, we have an experienced sparring partner at our side who is moving in lockstep with us towards the 1.5 degree target – we trust each other completely,” adds Himmelstein.

In January of last year, Maximator Hydrogen GmbH split off from Maximator GmbH as a Schmidt Kranz Group company and since then has focused on H2 refueling technologies. With the increasing urgency of the climate targets, the relevance of hydrogen in mobility is rising continuously. Despite its young history, the company from Thuringia (Germany) can look back on major infrastructure projects in other countries, such as an order for 24 H2 refueling stations for Sweden, in addition to a large number of facilities in Switzerland (the manufacturer’s 14th facility opened in June).

The hydrogen market is also developing continuously in France, for which the company is now preparing itself. Christophe Mony, co-founder of Maximator Hydrogen France, is looking ambitiously to the future: “As the first European spin-off of Maximator Hydrogen, becoming active in France now means an enormous step towards low-emission mobility. The shared history and the resulting trust let us focus fully on the H2 world from the very beginning – so the pace towards the energy transition can be increased once again.” The two companies are already planning a joint trade fair appearance in Paris at MEET4Hydrogen HySky in September of this year – and the next event, Hyvolution, will follow as early as January. The first projects for the coming year are already in the pipeline.
