Gold Hydrogen Limited recently announced key developments in its natural hydrogen flagship Ramsay Project in South Australia. Internationally recognized SLB (formerly Schlumberger) and Savanna Energy Services have been secured as service suppliers for the company’s upcoming drilling program, set to commence in October 2023.

Key Contracts Secured

Following a rigorous tender and procurement process, Gold Hydrogen has agreed on drilling and services contracts with SLB and Savanna Energy. The latter, an international drilling contractor, is tasked with drilling services for the company’s first exploration well on the Ramsay Project. The drilling style is designed to minimize disruption and impact within the local community.

SLB, having been involved with the Ramsay Project from its inception, will continue to offer its specialist services, including geological services, mud logging, wireline services, and cementing services. Further contracts for associated services are due to be awarded soon.

Progress on Permitting and Stakeholder Engagement

The company has submitted necessary approvals to the Department of Energy and Mines, with an expected issuance in September. Gold Hydrogen maintains a continuous engagement process with the community and key stakeholders, nurturing supportive relationships.

Land Access and Project Objectives

Several multi-year land access arrangements are in place, offering the company multiple locations for its initial exploration well and subsequent wells. The primary objectives of the Ramsay Project include progressing its natural hydrogen Prospective Resources to Contingent Resources and/or Reserves and maturing parts of the granted title PEL 687 to Production Licence areas.
