H2SYS Company, designing hydrogen solution presents its new innovation, BOXHY® an electric generator to power loads from 500 W to 8 kW using hydrogen.
The generator produces carbon-free electricity – quietly – thanks to a PEM fuel cell system integrated with a battery pack.
Many rental companies show their interest for commissioning hydrogen solution to power events as sports competitions or cultural festival. This solution allows reducing the carbon impact and is a new opportunity to promote local hydrogen production.
After the presentation in Hannover Messe, BOXHY® will be used for different music festivals such as “We love green” and “Rock in Seine”.
An innovation offering new uses for hydrogen
“In 2016, we were the first to present fuel cell generator in Hannover Messe. A genset powered with hydrogen in a public area was something new – says Sébastien Faivre, CEO and cofounder of H2SYS company. Then, we succeed to implement our solution to power a complete booth in Paris for “French Mayors Fair” and started to supply sport events such as “The international Youth Games” in 2018. With BOXHY we offer a commercial solution able to substitute small power generators.”
BOXHY® genset benefits from the company’s latest innovations in terms of security and functionalities. H2 integrated tank – refillable in 350 bar hydrogen station – will soon be available to complete and improve the product.
