Helion Hydrogen Wins Tender

HELION Hydrogen Power and the University of Corsica Pasquale-Paoli recently renewed their commitment to ongoing cooperation by launching a new development stage on MYRTE platform.

MYRTE 2020 project will unable to test new applications, in particular hydrogen mobility, and will strengthen the existing electrical capacity of the platform with the addition of a new Hydrogen/ Air fuelcell “FC Rack TM”, the latest innovation from HELION .

About Helion Hydrogen

Helion Hydrogen is recognized as a hydrogen safety expertise and a solid partners network. Company designs manufacture and commercialize PEM* fuel cells stacks and systems for Energy and Transport applications.

The goal of MYRTE is to perform research to support the development of the MYRRHA (Multi-Purpose Hybrid Research Reactor for High-Tech Applications) research facility, which aims to demonstrate the feasibility of high-level nuclear waste transmutation at industrial scale. With MYRRHA as a large multipurpose irradiation facility, the demonstration of transmutation will be combined with the production of radio-isotopes and the ability to perform material testing for nuclear fission and fusion applications.  Numerical studies and experimental facilities are defined to achieve our goal.
