  • Porsche will receive 24,600 liters of synthetic gasoline in England, produced by the Chilean company in Magallanes.

Punta Arenas, Chile– The first commercial export of carbon-neutral fuel has begun its journey to Europe: it set sail from Puerto Mardones on the Copihue ship, which will dock this Sunday in San Antonio to transfer the cargo and continue its journey to the United Kingdom, carrying 24,600 liters of synthetic gasoline produced at HIF Global’s Haru Oni demonstration plant.

“In March, we sent the first liters of fuel to be tested by Porsche in their cars, and now we are finalizing the first commercial export, which will be used in the Experience Centers and the Porsche Mobil 1 Super Cup without the need to modify the engines. This product can be used immediately, with the existing infrastructure, and it is a concrete step to curb climate change,” said HIF Global’s regional manager for Latin America, Víctor Turpaud.

Like conventional gasoline, these e-Fuels were transported in an isotank, which complies with special safety standards and is made of a stainless steel alloy and surrounded by protective layers.

To reach this export, the fuel undergoes strict quality control, with 24/7 parameter monitoring by control room operators, on-site checks, and daily sample analysis in the laboratory developed by HIF in collaboration with Gasco and the University of Magallanes.
