The Consumer Technology Association has announced the winners of the CES 2022 Innovation Awards. The JOUAV CW-25H(DJ25) hydrogen-powered VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) fixed-wing UAV system won the CES 2022 Innovation Award in the Drones & Unmanned Systems.

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), organized by the Consumer Technology Association, is one of the world’s most influential technology events, promoting the close integration of cutting-edge electronics and modern life.

The CES Innovation Awards, known as the “Nobel Prize” of the consumer technology industry. The awards are judged annually on three main criteria: engineering and functionality, aesthetics and design, and product uniqueness and innovation. It is designed to honor the most outstanding design and engineering in 27 categories of consumer electronics. The award of the CES 2022 Innovation Award for the JOUAV CW-25H is a recognition of the engineering, design, and innovation of the entire system.

Jointly developed by JOUAV and Doosan Innovation, the JOUAV CW-25H hydrogen-powered VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) has zero emissions, no noise, low vibration, low maintenance costs. It has a maximum flight time of 330 minutes, a maximum payload of 4 kg, and a maximum range of 500 km.
