The New Era yacht from HYNOVA is the first fully hydrogen powered yacht in the world to go into production.
Fuel Cells Systems HyQube 300 refuelling system is providing fuel for the vessel as it cruises the French Riviera for Sea Show 2021.
The HyQube is being deployed at ports along the coast, refuelling the yacht as it travels from Marseille to Monaco. The 12 metre long yacht has an autonomy of 8 hours and produces no harmful emissions.

Fuel Cell Systems was approached by Hy2gen AG, specialists in the production of green hydrogen and leaders in a range of sustainable projects worldwide, to deliver a hydrogen refuelling solution. The hydrogen for this project is supplied by Air Liquide, and a redeployble, cost effective solution was needed to refuel the yacht as it travelled along the French coast.
