Hyundai Motor Company Launches 2024 Version of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Nexo

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 9th of June that it has released the ‘2024 Nexo’, a year-changing model that improves marketability by standardizing customer preferences.

Hyundai Motor Company standardizes specifications with high customer preference, such as â–³after blow â–³USB C-type charger (two in one row, two in two in two rows), â–³2-row safety power window, and â–³micro antibacterial filter, and adopts dark gray exterior color ‘Amazon Gray’ ‘ was added.

In addition, the 2024 Nexo is operated with one premium trim that was selected by about 97% of customers in the existing Nexo, and the â–³wide sunroof and roof rack â–³19-inch wheels and tires included in the existing premium trim are operated as optional features. Optimized.

The selling price of the 2024 Nexo is 69.5 million won after applying tax benefits. Considering the subsidy of 32.5 million won (22.5 million won from the government, 10 million won from the local government) as of Seoul this year, the actual customer purchase price is lowered to 37 million won.

Since its initial release in March 2018, Hyundai Motor Company’s hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, the Nexo, has experienced impressive sales in its home market. As of May, the eco-friendly vehicle has sold nearly 32,000 units in South Korea, further solidifying Hyundai’s commitment to pioneering sustainable transport solutions. This success in the domestic market reflects the growing interest in and acceptance of hydrogen as a viable and clean energy source for the automotive industry.

Hyundai Motor Company plans to continuously expand various types of hydrogen charging infrastructure, such as mobile hydrogen charging stations, for the convenience of Nexo owners.

Hyundai Motor Company said that the 2024 Nexo is a model that enhances customer convenience through additional specifications and adjusts trim operation to suit customer preferences.
