
- Planning Minister meets with delegation from Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group
Nasser Shraideh, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, met with a delegation from the Fortescue Metals Company, an Australian conglomerate specialising in material and mineral extraction.
According to a statement released Monday by the ministry, the meeting takes place during a visit by the delegation to explore and address investment opportunities in the Kingdom, especially in the fields of green hydrogen production and ammonia, with the aim of exporting to international markets.
Shraideh spoke about the Kingdom’s favourable investment climate and the government’s efforts to encourage the use of renewable energy.
The meeting was attended by the Australian envoy to Jordan.
