City of Yeosu recently announced that it will support 37.5 million won as a subsidy for 75 hydrogen-electric vehicles this year.
It plans to support the Hyundai Nexo as the model for the subsidy.
Priority is given to families, vulnerable groups, purchasing vehicles as taxis, and anyone who needs to stop using diesel cars and to purchase hydrogen vehicles.
Individuals and organizations wishing to received assistance with the purchase of hydrogen-electric vehicles can visit an auto dealership and fill out the application form and contract.
A city official said, “We plan to expand support for hydrogen electric vehicles and electric vehicles, which are attracting attention as Eco-friendly vehicles, to reduce fine dust.”
