Kouros Group announces investment in Haffner Energy, specializing in the production of renewable hydrogen from biomass.

The Investment company announced Wednesday (September 4th) that, “Kouros is stepping up its investments in green hydrogen production technologies.”

After taking a stake in Ergosup in February 2019 and in hydrogen Hype taxis last July, Kouros now invests in Haffner Energy.

“This investment aims to support the industrial and commercial development of the Hynoca process, a major innovation of Haffner Energy, allowing the production of renewable hydrogen at a competitive price,” says Kouros.

This process aims to produce green hydrogen from biomass for mobility and industry. “Haffner Energy has joined forces with R-GDS, a natural gas distributor in Bas-Rhin, to build the first industrial unit with a capacity of 650 kg / day of green hydrogen in Strasbourg”.  The unit should be in operation in the autumn of 2021. In addition, an industrial demonstrator will be built soon, for a green hydrogen production capacity of 120 kg per day.
