Linde Fuel Cell GLC FCELL Hand Off

Stuttgart / Munich– Linde Board member Dr. Ing. Christian Bruch will be driving emission-free with his brand-new fuel cell-powered Mercedes GLC F-CELL (combined hydrogen consumption: 0.34 kg / 100 km, combined CO2 emissions: 0 g / km, combined power consumption: 13.7 kWh / 100 km).

Prof. Dr. Christian Mohrdieck, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Fuel Cell GmbH and responsible for fuel cell development in the Daimler Group handed over the keys to the vehicle on Friday in Munich.

Prof. Dr. Christian Mohrdieck said, “The connection between Daimler and Linde goes way back. We were one of the first to revolutionize hydrogen mobility in Germany. Almost exactly ten years ago, we were able to open the first public hydrogen filling station in Stuttgart on the OMV site. All the more, I am pleased to hand over our new Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL with plug-in fuel cell technology to our long-time partner today. Fuel cell technology is part of electric mobility today and tomorrow and is therefore an integral part of our drive strategy. With more than 60 hydrogen refueling stations in Germany today, we have already achieved a great deal together with our H2 Mobility partners – one more reason to continue with VollGAS. “
