After a highly competitive hiring and selection process, Hydrologiq is proud to announce their new Head of Product: See Wah Cheng. See Wah arrives at Hydrologiq on the back of his work as Director of Product at the UK unicorn Onfido. As Head of Product, he is Hydrologiq’s digital product manager, taking responsibility for development of the Hydrologiq Platform. He helps the whole Hydrologiq team define and create solutions to bring the emerging hydrogen supply chain together.
Hydrologiq Director Benjamin Lindley said, “Aran and I are both excited to welcome See Wah to the team! Even after just one month, he is already developing deep customer insights and driving forward tangible new offerings to our clients, such as a hydrogen deployment tracker that customers can use to share key documentation, contacts, and logistics planning. His extensive product expertise, twinned with bucketloads of motivation and a professional, amicable communication style make him a huge asset to Hydrologiq.”

“Since kickstarting the Net Zero initiative at Onfido, my previous company, I have developed an appreciation of what a mammoth task it is for businesses to transition from fossil fuels,” says See Wah. “However hard it might be, for me this is a non-negotiable task. And thanks to new business and technology innovation positively driving the transition forward, I am hopeful that we can succeed.
“I am particularly interested in high-impact areas that are hard to decarbonise, like off-grid power. Using diesel to power generators is something that until recently was the norm for businesses in construction, events, and film. Hydrologiq has the vision and the expertise to support many of these companies on their journey to phase out diesel and adopt cleaner, healthier solutions. I am extremely excited and honoured to be part of the team to help build out our scalable platform, helping industries reach their carbon reduction targets by providing easy and low-risk access to hydrogen-generated electricity. This, along with our long-term goal of optimising hydrogen usage efficiency via data, will deliver a significant impact towards global carbon reduction.”
