FRANKFURT, Germany—MV Index Solutions GmbH (MVIS® announced the launch of the MVIS Global Hydrogen Economy Index (ticker: MVHTWO). The Index is a global index that tracks the performance of the global hydrogen economy.

Hydrogen-based energy has tremendous potential to replace traditional energy sources due to the stability of the energy supply and virtually zero-emissions energy generation process. The MVIS Global Hydrogen Economy Index is weighted by free float market capitalisation and is calculated in USD as a price and a total return net index. Capping factors are applied to avoid overweighting of single index companies. The index is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
