Fuel Cells Works, Nevada Receives $6.5M for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses

FY21 Low and No Emission Program Supports the Regional Transportation of Commission Washoe County

This $715 billion transportation and water projects bill was approved by the House on Thursday, which included grants for high-speed rail, high-speed highways and Amtrak projects worth more than $51 million in the state.

Part of this bill includes provision and funding so that RTC Washoe County will able to buy hydrogen fuel cell electric buses, improving reliability and air quality for Washoe County.
