
On Wednesday Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) announced that it was reducing production hours for higher-priced Model S and Model X cars, just days after saying it would cut jobs as the electric carmaker looks to make more affordable versions of the Model 3 sedan.
Direct competitor Nikola Motors CEO Trevo Milton took to social media and offered to aid any Tesla workers who have been laid off by connecting them to his companies human resource office.
Nikola Motor Company is a pioneer in electric heavy duty applications. Nikola offers both pure electric and also hydrogen electric powertrains to cover class 6-8 in transportation.
This move is quite ironic as it was Elon Musk who called fuel cells “fool cells”.
