Fuel Cells Works, Oman and Hungary Foreign Ministers Discuss Green Hydrogen Production

Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, held talks with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary, in Budapest this morning.

During the talks, they reviewed relations between the two friendly countries, discussing various aspects of cooperation and how to enhance that cooperation, especially in the areas of trade and investment and economic diversification. The talks focussed particularly on renewable energy and the exchange of experiences in green hydrogen production.

The two ministers also exchanged views on current regional and international issues of common concern. They emphasised the importance of supporting all peaceful efforts and the rule of international law in order to strengthen cooperation and understanding in a way that strengthens stability in the world.

The two Ministers signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of water management and an executive programme in the field of studies and training.

The talks session was attended by Yusuf Ahmed Aljabri, Oman’s Ambassador to Hungary; Szabolcs Ferencz, Oman’s Honorary Consul in Budapest and a number of officials from both sides.
