• In collaboration with Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies and MAN Energy Solutions, Frames is undertaking the design of a modular and skid-mounted LOHC Storage Plant for what will be the first industrial scale LOHC plant in Europe.

Based on Hydrogenious’ LOHC (Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier) technology, the plant in Cologne, located at CHEMPARK Dormagen, Germany, will have the capacity to store 5 tons of hydrogen per day. Typically, 5 tons of hydrogen can fuel half a million vehicle kilometres for a hydrogen powered car.

Plastic Omnium, a leading automotive supplier and key player in the hydrogen value chain, together with AVL, the world’s largest independent company for development, simulation and testing in the automotive and energy industries, have signed a partnership agreement for the development of high and medium
power hydrogen systems.

The program’s goal is to facilitate the development of low-carbon heavy-duty vehicles on hydrogen for logistic applications and gain practical experience.

• Neste is entering into execution phase with its partners in the MultiPLHY consortium.

The MultiPLHY project aims at installing, integrating and operating the world’s first high-temperature electrolyzer system in multi-megawatt-scale (~2.4 MW) at Neste’s renewable products refinery in Rotterdam to demonstrate production of green hydrogen for the refinery’s processes.

PARIS— In order to facilitate the injection of hydrogen into its distribution networks, GRDF and 66 gas distributors in 13 European countries are launching the Ready for Hydrogen (Ready4H2) initiative.
