Costain, the smart infrastructure solutions company, has won the next phase of work providing technical consultancy services to Pale Blue Dot Energy to deliver what could be the UK’s first carbon capture and storage (CCS) project and part of helping the energy and transport industries meet the Scottish and UK Government net-zero carbon emissions targets.

UK Hydrogen Taskforce Launched in Parliament Today

A gathering of 10 associations, including BP and Shell, have launched the Hydrogen Taskforce which is planning to offer a common vision of hydrogen.

The coalition wants to establish 100 hydrogen stations by 2025 and also wants the UK Government to commit £1bn towards trials in storing, distributing and making hydrogen by low-carbon hydrolysis.
