Toyota dealer Louwman in The Hague has delivered 35 Toyota’s Mirai cars to Noot Personenvervoer. This means that the municipality of The Hague has the first hydrogen-powered taxi fleet in the Netherlands. Toyota carries out its long-term vision towards zero vehicle emissions and focuses on various efficient powertrains. With the commissioning of the taxi fleet, the number of hydrogen cars sold in 2019 will increase by 152 percent.

BOSTON — Seven early-stage companies were selected as the winners of the H2 Refuel Accelerator, which was designed to identify innovative solutions to increase the adoption of hydrogen infrastructure and supply chain technologies. The H2 Refuel Accelerator is a unique collaboration between the Urban Future Lab, Greentown Labs and the Fraunhofer TechBridge Program, sponsored by Shell, Toyota and NYSERDA.

Ground-breaking ceremony for a new hydrogen electrolysis plant at the Shell Rheinland refinery in Wesseling, Germany, that will help contribute to a cleaner, lower-carbon energy future.

Brussels/Cologne — Construction of the new plant, which features advanced polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) technology, is expected to be completed in the second half of 2020. The plant will produce up to 1,300 tons of hydrogen per year when operating at peak rates.
