FuelCells Works, Plagazi Ab (Publ) Appoints Germany’s Green Hydrogen Commissioner, Dr. Stefan Kaufmann to the Company's Board of Directors.

Plagazi AB (publ) (“Plagazi” or the “Company”) has appointed Dr. Stefan Kaufmann to Plagazi’s board of directors.

Since 2020, Dr. Kaufmann has led Germany’s national green hydrogen strategy as the country’s Innovation Commissioner for Green Hydrogen at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). In addition to his responsibilities in the green hydrogen sector, Dr. Kaufmann has also been responsible for Germany’s research and development activities.

During that time, Dr. Kaufmann has been vital in developing the German and European hydrogen market, together with multiple national and international leaders of the German and European political landscape. Dr. Kaufmann advocates for a sustainable and circular hydrogen society and all the benefits linked to developing the hydrogen infrastructure. Moreover, Dr. Kaufmann has also been supporting Plagazi as part of the company’s Advisory Board and the fruitful relationship has developed into Dr. Kaufmann joining the company’s board of directors.

Dr. Stefan Kaufmann has held important senior political positions during his career. Dr. Kaufmann has served as Chairman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Government’s Committee on Education, Research, and Technology Assessment. Dr. Kaufmann has also been the Chairman of the State Committee for Media and Media Policy of the CDU Baden-Württemberg, a member of the Federal Committee for Education, Research, and Innovation of the CDU Germany. Today, Dr. Kaufmann is still the Co-Chairman of the Federal Committee for Education, Research, and Innovation of the CDU Germany.
