Proton Power and MTSA Agreement

Proton Power Systems plc (AIM: PPS), the designer, developer and producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid systems, announces the agreement of a 50:50 profit sharing Cooperation Agreement with MTSA Technopower B.V. to design, manufacture and sell large power systems based on hydrogen fuel cell stacks, ranging between 0.5 MW and 10 MW.

Both companies have complementary experience in the field of producing fuel cell stacks, integrating electrolyser stacks and fuel cell stacks to produce containerised systems of up to 10 MW of power capacity. The systems are used in Power to Power applications for peak shaving in industrial or residential compounds and as Gas to Power as prime power for industrial units, ship propulsion and power supply in remote areas.

We are delighted with this venture that provides power with clean zero emission footprint using renewable produced or recycled hydrogen. The systems will contribute to a cleaner environment in the energy transition period and beyond.

Both companies are ready to accept orders for such units forthwith, customer application design and engineering will be provided for customers as part of the package.
