The development of a hydrogen hub in Puglia is accelerating. Public notices have been published to identify experts who will form the Regional Observatory responsible for monitoring and analyzing data concerning the hydrogen supply chain. The Observatory will also provide support for the definition of regional planning in order to link the initiatives promoted and more effectively incentivize the economy built on hydrogen produced from renewable sources.
According to Economic Development Councillor Alessandro Delli Noci, “hydrogen plays a fundamental role in ensuring the achievement of Agenda 2030 commitments and making the country energy independent.” When tackling this challenge, in which Puglia plays a leading role at the national level, we believe it’s crucial to strengthen shared modes of intervention based on the participation of territories and strategic networks. It will allow us to improve decision-making processes and unlock decision-making for the benefit of the territories.” Among the components to be identified, eight profiles will be selected through public notice.
