Repsol’s Puertollano (Ciudad Real) petrochemical director, Arsenio Salvador, confirmed the company’s participation in HydRIC.

HydRIC, the green hydrogen plant in Puertollano, was developed in conjunction with RIC Energy. It is located on the industrial estate La Nava.

In Puertollano, the new facility will deliver renewable hydrogen to the Repsol Industrial Complex through a 10-kilometer hydroduct.

In this project, a renewable hydrogen production facility with a capacity of more than 100 megawatts will be built. A 30-megawatt electrolyzer will start the plant.
