Fuel cells works, Russia: Aurus Unveils a Hydrogen-Powered Luxury Limousine

Russia’s National Automotive and Scientific Research Unit (NAMI) and Aurus unveiled the prototype of a luxury hydrogen-powered vehicle on May 31.

A base configuration of the automobile costs 18 million rubles, or $274,000.

According to Denis Manturov who heads the Russian Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Aurus is “the world’s only (in its class)” prototype vehicle that runs on hydrogen as fuel.
