In the first quarter of 2021, the number of fuel cells delivered for caravaning and marine applications rose to 586 from 329 in the first quarter of 2020, representing a growth of about 78 percent. The development in Germany is particularly dynamic, followed by the Scandinavian and North American markets.

In times of mobility restrictions, “holidays on the doorstep” in motorhomes are enjoying rapidly increasing demand. According to the Caravaning Industrie Verband (CIVD), new registrations of recreational vehicles grew by 12.6 percent. With 24,224 newly registered vehicles, this is a new record for the first three months of a year.
