Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said last week that his government will invest 1.5 Billion euros from the European Recovery Fund to develop hydrogen production from renewable sources in the next three years and make Spain a power in this field.

The news is picked up and highlighted by the international press that highlights that Spain is one of the European countries best positioned to have a dominant position in green hydrogen. And it is recalled that the production of this fuel from renewable sources is an essential part of the EU plan to reduce emissions in 2030.

With sunny plains, windy hills, and gas infrastructure, Spain wants to take the lead in producing hydrogen using renewable energy sources, a process that is key to achieving its carbon emissions targets.
