In a decisive move aimed at bolstering its presence in the bus and electric mobility sectors, Subros Limited has announced the development of an Electric Air-conditioning system integrated with a Battery Management System specifically designed for Hydrogen Cell Bus applications. Crafted entirely in-house by Subros’ R&D Engineers, this advancement epitomizes the company’s commitment to “Design in India” and “Make in India” initiatives.

The newly minted system has already been fitted into an OEM bus for trial runs, signifying a crucial step in the product’s real-world application. With this innovative offering, Subros broadens its product portfolio, which already includes air-conditioning systems for buses with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EVs).

“This development completes the full spectrum of air conditioning solutions for all types of buses, including those with ICE, EVs, and now Hydrogen Cells,” the company stated. The move also lays the groundwork for Subros’ aggressive growth plan within this vertical.

Subros Limited, already a prominent name in bus air-conditioning systems, envisions this product as a cornerstone in its expansion strategy. By filling the gap for a thermal solution in the burgeoning field of hydrogen cell buses, Subros is setting the stage for a more sustainable and diverse future in public transportation.
