The First French Hydrogen Bus Line Goes Into Service on Yveline

Fuel Cells Works, France: Agglo De Pau to Receive New Hydrogen Buses

The bus will be officially inaugurated on Sept 12th but it has been in service since 9 September. The bus connects Versailles to Jouy-en-Josas without emitting any pollution.

The buse can be fully fueled with hydrogen in about twenty minutes in comparison to an electric bus that takes 4 hours to recharge.

“The technology is developing slowly in France, but Air Liquide, the French group that invests heavily in the sector, is convinced that by producing mass production vehicles, we will drive down prices and compete with electric vehicles.”
