Madrid — The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2), the main representative of the sector in Spain with more than 270 partners from the entire hydrogen value chain, with the purpose of generating synergies in the defense of the interests of the The energy sector, the circular economy, sustainability and the use of hydrogen, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Ministry of Environment and Development of Colombia. Representatives of the different parties have been in charge of signing the agreement in order to support the growth and beneficial impacts of the hydrogen and fuel cells sector.

These technologies are not only on the rise in various sectors, from transportation to the production of electrical energy, but they are also gaining more weight in the strategies for the energy transition implemented in different fields and institutional and regulatory levels. That is why it is vital for us to continue collaborating, both nationally and internationally, to generate positive synergies that allow us to continue advancing towards decarbonization; thus leading a change in the energy production and consumption model ”, stated Javier Brey, president of AeH2.
