Andreas Beckers, CEO of the German company thyssenkrupp, said the company is currently working on a memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity to create a green hydrogen plant, as well as developing a program to develop young talent from different universities to give them an entrepreneurial spirit.

He added in an interview with Al-Arabiya that the company’s business in Egypt includes more than 200 engineers and is developing many fertilizer factories in the field of caustic and chlorine industries, as well as other established factories in Egypt.

He continued: “We are also very proud today of the entrepreneurship training program to foster more young talent from various universities. in Egypt, to contribute to the development of the country “.

The company offered to set up a factory to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia and export them in In this context, Beckers said his company is currently working on a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Electricity and is looking forward to finalizing this agreement. in a very near future.

He continued: “We are in close contact with a number of partners interested in the development of green technologies in Egypt, not only green hydrogen but also green ammonia, green methanol and all fertilizer derivatives. I think we have made an excellent contribution to the country through our technologies in past, and today with these technologies, which are necessary to stop climate change and regarding the COP 27 event which will take place in Sharm El Sheikh questyear, I think this is an important area in Egypt as well as in the whole world. “

He explained that the company is interested in the fertilizer industry in Egypt and intends to continue growing in this sector in Egypt, noting that green technologies have also shown tremendous progress in terms of environmental protection.

He added: “I think we will continue in this way in future, as well as other projects in course, such as the project on the petrochemical complexes in El Alamein. So I think we have a great variety of projects that are perfectly suited to the economy here and we are looking forward to further developments in future”.

He stated that the goals of the entrepreneurship program launched by the company in Egypt are a great example of how companies do private how we can contribute to the development of young talents from different universities to give them an entrepreneurial spirit and practical experience in various fields, also helping them to find potential job opportunities within our company but also within the market, which is possible.
