Beijing (Jiji Press)–Japan’s Toyota Motor Corp. said Monday that it has agreed to supply fuel cell parts to a commercial vehicle unit of Beijing Automotive Group Co., or BAIC Group.
The unit, Beiqi Foton Motor Co., will mount fuel cell systems using the Toyota parts on large buses.

The Japanese carmaker emphasized that it will work with other commercial vehicle makers.
In 2014, Toyota released the Mirai fuel cell vehicle, which is sold in 16 economies.
