Fébus, the High-Level Service Bus designed with Van Hool, has won the prestigious “Grand Bus Award” and the Ecology Award, awarded by BusWorld, the world’s largest bus and coach innovation event.
BusWorld Europe is the largest and oldest bus exhibition in the world. On this occasion, 21 buses and coaches from different manufacturers around the world were tested and examined by a panel of experts from the bus market. It is against this backdrop of increased competition and strong state-of-the-art services, that Fébus, the new generation electric hydrogen-fueled bus, built by Van Hool and conceived with and by the city of Pau, receives the highest awards and is awarded the Grand Award Bus Award.
This distinction, a world-first for an 18-meter hydrogen-powered bus, rewards Fébus for its innovation, comfort, sober and elegant design and its ecology and safety qualities.
In addition, the BHNS Pau wins the Ecology label, confirming the choice of 100% clean hydrogen without any polluting emissions.
