Wystrach Cooperation Agreement

On the occasion of the Energy Storage Europe, which takes place from 12 to 14 March in Duesseldorf, the two enterprises announced their co-operation.

Self-sufficient energy supply for single-family homes is what the Berlin-based company Home Power Solutions (HPS) is turning into reality.

The HPS Picea power storage and fuel cell system transforms an existing solar system into a high-availability power plant.

The use of Picea requires no special modifications to the house. The system is already being used by various prefab providers. The hydrogen is stored in the Wystrach bundles with up to 300 bar pressure.

Picea consists of an energy center and a seasonal energy storage. Battery, electrolyzer and fuel cell work together efficiently. The hydrogen obtained is stored in stationary 12 or 16 bundles from Wystrach,

Mobile hydrogen refueling station in planning stage

With its flexible systems, Wystrach can cover very different storage requirements: from the capacity of a detached house to an office building to a power plant. The Niederrhein company equips innovative start-ups as well as renowned companies with high-pressure storage solutions. In addition, Wystrach is working on solutions for the drive technology and the energy supply of tomorrow, for example through the development of the Wy Refueler, a mobile hydrogen refueling station.
